Yachts, Parades and Parties, oh my!  Well it’s that time of year again in Ft. Lauderdale. The snowbirds are returning, the Intra-coastal is lined with super-yachts and the weather lends itself to outdoor activities. Those of us who live in South Florida year round look forward to this event every year because it is the unofficial start of the holiday season.
With over 300 miles worth of canals, Ft. Lauderdale is oftentimes referred to the Venice of America. It is little wonder why the builders and sellers of these multi-million dollar yachts choose to have the largest show of the year here. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat show runs from Oct 30- Nov 3rd and offers a variety of events including extreme fishing clinics, activities for kids and of course billions of dollars worth of the most amazing nautical machines you’ve ever seen. The show takes place in six locations across the city and has something for everyone.
